What we collect, and what we do with it.
No twenty pages of legal boilerplate. Here is plainly what happens to your information when you use this website or get in touch.
Short version: we collect very little, we use a few well-known tools to see which parts of this website work and which do not, and anything you send us through a form comes to us and only us. We have never sold anyone's details and we never will.
What we collect
Two things.
How people use the site. Which pages get visited, how people arrived, roughly what part of the world they are in and what device they used. This is counted, not tied to your name.
What you tell us. If you fill in a form, email or call, we keep what you send. Usually that is your name, email, phone number and a note about what you need.
The tools we use, and why
We are a web company, so we practise what we recommend: we measure what works instead of guessing.
- Google. Google Analytics and Google's tags tell us which pages people find useful, how they found us, and where they give up.
- Facebook. Tells us whether what we post and promote actually brings people here.
- Sales Intellect. Our own Australian-built CRM. It makes sure an enquiry is never lost, and shows us which pages someone looked at before getting in touch.
These use cookies and similar identifiers. If you would rather not be counted, your browser's privacy settings or an ad blocker will stop most of it, and the site works perfectly well either way.
Your enquiry comes to us, and stops there
If you fill in a form on this website, your details go to the Intellecta team so we can answer you. That is the entire purpose.
We do not sell your details. We do not rent, trade or hand them to third parties for marketing, and we will not add you to a mailing list because you asked a question. If part of your information has to reach a supplier to do the job you have asked for, such as setting up hosting, we pass on only the part needed for that.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries so we have a record of the conversation, which matters most if you become a client. If you would like yours removed, just ask.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@intellecta.com.au and a person will deal with it.
