PCB Design

These pages present the PCB Design and Make software from Techsoft UK

What is a PCB?

Printed circuit boards or PCB’s are very common components in electronic products. They serve to hold the components on the board and the electrical connections via conducting tracks are the “wire” of the circuit.

Many student projects end up with the need to make a printed circuit because of space requirements, reliability or complexity of the design. The circuit is much easier to follow and check if the tracks and components are on the PCB.

There are many ways to make the board - manual tracks with pens, photograhic techniques and engraving which does not require chemicals to etch the board.
